Policies

Enrollment Deposits

• Families may reserve a space in the Preschool or After School Transportation Program for the following year by paying a deposit equal to one month’s tuition.

• The deposit is applied to the final month of enrollment. If a family withdraws midyear, it is applied to their last month. If they complete the full year, it is applied to June tuition.

Payments

• Preschool and after school class tuition is billed monthly from September through June, with automatic payments processed on the first of each month.

• Registration fees and deposits are non-refundable.​

Attendance

• Preschool class pass must be used within the session year (Sep–Jun).

• Weekend class pass must be used within 3 months.

Cancellations

• Families must give 30 days’ written notice to cancel a monthly plan.

• There are no partial refunds or prorated tuition for mid-month cancellations.

Schedule & Closures

• Preschool and After School classes follow the Lake Washington School District calendar for school days and breaks.

• Closed on national holidays.

• Weather closures follow Lake Washington School District.

• No refunds for weather or holiday closures.

Behavior/Readiness

• Children must be toilet trained for preschool.

• If a child’s needs cannot be safely met or the child’s behavior repeatedly disrupts the program or injures others, Arden Academy reserves the right to discontinue enrollment.

Late Pickup

• Children must be picked up by the scheduled program end time. A late fee of $1 per minute will be charged after the designated pick up time.

Cell Phones

• If a child brings a cell phone or tablet to class, it will be kept by a teacher and returned to the parent at pickup. Devices may not be used during class time.
