Seeking enthusiastic, reliable individuals who love working with children to teach during the school year and/or lead our 4-hour half-day camps over spring, summer, and winter breaks. We follow the Lake Washington School District calendar for holidays, breaks, and snow days.
For all teaching positions below, compensation is $30 to $100 per hr, depending on experience and availability. The Teaching Assistant position starts at $25/hr.
Hiring
Chess
Seeking instructors to teach Western chess to students ages 4-5 and 6-11. Ability to also teach Chinese chess (Xiangqi) or Japanese chess (Shogi) is a plus.
Art & Origami
Teach art and origami to children ages 3-5 and 6-11 through drawing, painting, and paper crafts. Saturday morning availability preferred, but not required.
Math & Logic
Teach children ages 3–5 and 6–11 using games and puzzles, guiding them to explore patterns, math facts, algebra, geometry, and reasoning.
Yoga & Movement
Seeking instructors to teach children ages 3-5 and 6-11 fun classes combining yoga and playful movement to build balance, flexibility, and confidence.
Creative Writing
Teach creative writing to ages 7–11 through stories, essays, poems, comics, and imaginative projects. Guide structure and technique, and help them revise their work.
Science
Teach children ages 5-11 through hands-on experiments and exploration. Introduce concepts in biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science.
